Trump to ‘suspend immigration into the United States’ by executive order amid coronavirus

President Donald Trump has revealed that he will soon an executive order that will temporarily suspend immigration into the United States in the wake of covid19 economic crisis as US markets plunged and oil markets turned  negative for the first time in history. When and how the order will be effected remains unclear and whether it will receive legal roadblocks.

“In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!” the president tweeted.

The president’s plan was supported by Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Arizona  who said, “All immigration to the United States should halt until every American who wants a job has one!” funny enough, most of the forks who do the real work and willingly so are the immigrants.  Representative. Don Beyer, a Democrat from Virginia., meanwhile, said that Trump was looking for “someone to blame for his own failure calling such a threat  “xenophobic scapegoating.”

America has felt the pinch of Covid19 with more than 750,000 Americans testing positive and  more than 42,000 deaths. Over 2.4 million people worldwide have tested positive for the coronavirus,  according to data from Johns Hopkins University with over  170,000 people dead.
