Kenya’s Covid-19 cases rise to 6,941 as 268 people test positive.

268 people tested positive, out of a sample size of 2,704. This number brings our case load of those confirmed positive to 6,941 out of the 176,059 cumulative samples so far tested according to CAS Health Dr. Rashid Aman.

Out of this number 259 are Kenyans while 9 are foreigners, with 160 males, and 108 females. The youngest is a one year old while the oldest is 80

20 patients from various hospitals were discharged from hospital, bringing to 2,109 the total number of recoveries.  The deaths from Covid-19 rose to 152 after 3 more patients succumbed to the disease.

The Ministry of health encourages Kenyans to maintain hand washing, observe social and physical distancing, proper wearing of face masks in public places and avoiding social & political gatherings to #KomeshaCorona 

The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the vulnerability of the people living with Non Communicable Diseases (NCD). The @MOH_Kenya  in collaboration with County Governments, has put up measures to ensure that NCD clinics remain operational during this period, Dr. Rashid Aman

As a result Trumpet of Hope Media Ministry was founded as a tool to inform, entertain, educate the Kenyans in the Diaspora.
