Kenya confirms 90 new Covid-19 cases as total hits 3,305.

Kenya on Friday recorded 90 new cases of-19, raising the country’s total number to 3,305. Of the new cases

62 are male while 28 are female.

The youngest in the group is 14 years while the oldest is 80 years.

This is out of the 2,419 samples that were tested in the last 24 hours.

In a press briefing of Friday, Health CAS Rashid Aman said a total of 108,666 tests have been conducted to date. So far

1,092 patients have recovered with 92 Kenyans having lost their lives.
The number of Covid-19 cases worldwide hit 7.27 M with 413 deaths.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the Health Ministry directed that only a maximum of only 15 people are allowed to attend a funeral.

Kisumu- Hundreds of Kenyans defied tear gas and riot police on Friday to carry off the body of a popular singer, trying to prevent a swift burial under rules for suspected coronavirus cases which the crowd said would be disrespectful.

Mourners and fans of Bernard Obonyo, whose stage name is Abenny Jachiga, swarmed the cemetery, preventing the singer’s funeral from taking place in Kisumu city in western Kenya.
