Former Vice President Joe Biden for the first time on Saturday said that his vice presidential vetting committee is considering more than a dozen female candidates to fill the position of a VP.
Biden said he will pick someone who is “simpatico” with his views. He also picked up from his former boss President Barrack Obama who had advised him to pick some who “has strengths where I have weaknesses.”
Among the likely candidates for the VP position include Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. California Sen. Kamala Harris, former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams and Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto are all potential contenders as well.
Joe promised to have a cabinet selection that has the face of the country hoping that the VP’s selection would be cleared by July.
