A 51 year old man accused of defiling his two daughters will spend 140 year’s in prison for his beastly
act.
The accused who appeared unremorseful of his offences stood unemotionales as magistrate read the
judgement.
Last week baricho magistrate ordered the probation office to do an inquiry if the accused before giving
his verdict.
Reading the judgement the magistrate ordered the name of the accused person to be published with
incription “Dangerous convicted sexual offenders”.
Senior principal magistrate Antony mwicigi noted that the accused has destroyed the lives of his two
daughters and their siblings and should be removed from the society.
He said that the two girls have been robbed their inocense, security and self esteem by individuals who
ought to secure their future.
” The accused through his insensitive behavior has permanently wounded the lives of young girl and
their siblings,he has no remorse for his behavior and two girls will forever be reminded and Carry the
pain for the rest of their lives”. He noted
He’s accused of defiling his two daughters who one has a seven month baby and the other is six month
pregnant.
The case was scheduled for sentencing last week since he pleaded guilty to the charges.
The man identified as john gichira a pastor with akorino adherent from kathaka village in ndia was
arrested last month after their aunt reportedthe matter the cases to the sagana police station.
The issue would have remained silent until the second born daughter aged 14 revealed to her aunt that
she was pregnant
In mitigation gichira prayed the court and the family to forgive and blamed satan for tricking himto do so.
