Walker County cancels events amid growing concerns with COVID-19

The Walker County Judge Danny Pierce has signed and amended order affecting the occupancy of premises throughout the county. In line with CDC regulations all events with 10 people or more have been canceled for the next eight (8) weeks in accordance with the latest order affecting the occupancy of premises throughout Walker County issued by County Judge Danny Pierce.

According to the order seen by our news desk, restaurants, bars, theatres and religious organisations are urged to comply with CDC guidelines and use all reasonable precautions to protect the public including increasing the space between individuals.  https://www.co.waller.tx.us/page/EM.COVID-19

Everyone is encouraged to remember to practice social distancing when possible and to wash your hands.
